vivo has made the G3 official today as the successor to the G2 from January 2024. The phone comes with a 6.74-inch 720×1600 LCD screen with 90 Hz refresh rate, a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP selfie camera, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 44W wired charging.
It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. It measures 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19 mm and weighs 204g. It has a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button.
It’s offered in China in black only for CNY 1,499 (approximately $208) with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and CNY 1,999 ($278) with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It’s unclear if it will ever be sold elsewhere.
