Tecno kicked off its Spark 40 series with three entries. Spark 40 is the entry-level device in the group, while Spark 40 Pro and Spark 40 Pro+ offer higher-resolution displays, faster chipsets, and IP64 ingress protection.
Spark 40 Pro+
Spark 40 Pro+ is the first phone to launch with MediaTek’s Helio G200 chipset, which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.
You get a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED with 1220p+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel features an under-display fingerprint scanner, and you also get a 13MP selfie camera.
The back features a 50MP main camera alongside an unspecified auxiliary sensor. There’s a 5200mAh battery with 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging
The software side is covered by HiOS 15.1 based on Android 15. The phone also features IP64 water and dust resistance.
Spark 40 Pro+ key specs and pricing
Spark 40 Pro+ comes in Nebula Black, Aurora White, Moon Titanium and Tundra Green colors. The device retails for UGX 769,000 ($214) in Uganda, where it is currently on pre-order.

Spark 40 Pro gets a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED with the same 1220p+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate as the Pro+ model. It dials down to a Helio G100 chipset, which is paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.
Tecno Spark 40 Pro
The rest of the specs fall in line with the Spark 40 Pro+ with a 50MP main camera around the back and a 13MP front-facing shooter. The device is IP64 rated against water and dust and features a 5,200mAh battery with 45W wired charging.
Spark 40 Pro key specs and pricing
Spark 40 Pro comes in Ink Black, Moon Titanium, Lake Blue and Bamboo Green colors. It is priced at UGX 679,000 ($189) in Uganda, where open sales start on July 7.
