After showing off a prototype smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery back in May, Realme is set to unveil an actual device with an even larger battery.
In a post on X, the Chinese manufacturer teased a phone with a larger than 10,000 mAh battery. Realme will be divulging more details on the phone on August 27. It is expected to use a similar silicon-anode battery technology found on the Realme GT 7 10,000 mAh phone.
The company also posted a teaser video with Realme Vice President Chase Xu talking about redefining limits. However, the video doesn’t reveal any details about the upcoming phone.
Despite packing a 10,000 mAh battery, the concept phone shown back in May was only 8.5mm thick and weighed a tolerable 215g. It’ll be exciting to see what Realme has in store for us now and whether the technology will actually make it to global markets.

Realme will showcase the new phone at the upcoming 828 Fan Festival, which is scheduled for August 27. During last year’s event, the company unveiled its 320W fast charging technology, which is claimed to fully charge a 4,400 mAh battery in less than 5 minutes.
