Poco has made the C85 official today. As its membership of the C-series reveals, this is a low-end device, in fact it doesn’t have 5G.
It’s powered by MediaTek’s Helio G81-Ultra SoC, paired with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. It has a 6.9-inch 720×1600 LCD screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 810-nit peak brightness, a 50 MP main camera, an 8MP front camera, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging.
There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The phone measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 7.99 mm and weighs 205g. It will be offered in purple, black, and green.
If all of this seems eerily familiar, that’s because the Poco C85 is identical to the Redmi 15C 4G, which got announced at the beginning of August. Obviously, the branding is different and so are the colorways, but otherwise, they are the same device.
