OnePlus will start making its tablets in India, thanks to a newly announced partnership with Bhagwati Products Limited (BPL), a company that specializes in electronics manufacturing. The OnePlus tablets will be made at BPL’s plant in Greater Noida.
Initially, the Indian factory will produce the OnePlus Pad 3 and OnePlus Pad Lite. It’s the first time that OnePlus tablets have been made in India, though smartphones have been manufactured in the country for a while now, and recently OnePlus began making accessories in India too, starting with the Bullets Wireless Z3.

The move to switch even more of its products’ assembly to India aligns with OnePlus’ Project Starlight initiative, which is focused on deepening local integration and manufacturing capabilities.
Robin Liu, OnePlus India CEO, said:
The collaboration with BPL marks a strategic milestone in our India journey towards deepening our manufacturing capabilities and expanding our connected ecosystem. By localizing tablet production, we are not only reinforcing our commitment to India, but also creating meaningful value for our user community. This partnership reflects our long-term vision to innovate for India, invest in India, and grow with India.
Vikas Jain, Bhagwati Products Limited co-founder, said:
We are excited to join hands with OnePlus for their new range of tablets.
