Slim phones are shaping up to be the trend in 2025 and the nubia Air is ZTE’s latest offering. The phone’s headlining feature is its slender body – just 6.7 mm thin, with the thinnest point on its midframe measuring 5.9mm.
The phone is also svelte at 172 grams, but despite the slender appearance, nubia Air is IP68/IP69K rated against dust and pressurized hot water jets.
The device is built around a 6.78-inch AMOLED with 1,224 × 2,720px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers 4,500 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. There’s a 20MP selfie cam embedded in the punch hole-cutout, while the bottom side houses an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The back houses a 50MP main cam alongside a 2MP depth helper and a 0.08MP auxiliary lens. The internals feature a Unisoc T8300 chipset, which is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the battery comes in at 5,000mAh and offers 33W charging.
Nubia Air comes in Titanium Black, Streamer Black and Titanium Desert colors. It’s launching in Europe first for €250, followed by a wider rollout across Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
