As expected, Lenovo unveiled its second gen Legion Go gaming handheld at IFA Berlin. The Legion Go 2 appears similar to last year’s original Legion Go, but offers several improvements including a new processor and larger battery.

The Lenovo Legion Go 2 can be configured with either the AMD Ryzen Z2 or the Z2 Extreme processor, coupled with the AMD Radeon 890M GPU. It can be paired with up to 32 GB 8,000MHz RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Lenovo’s new handheld comes with an 8.8-inch OLED panel that offers a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and 30 to 144Hz variable refresh rate. The display delivers 500 nits of brightness and also carries an HDR TrueBlack 1000 certification.

The handheld now gets a fingerprint scanner on the power button, dual USB4 ports with Power delivery 4.0 support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It features dual 2W speakers, dual microphones, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is also heavier at 1079g. It will be available for purchase in select markets this month at a starting price of €999.
