The Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 mid-range smartphone debuted today India. According to Lava, the new phone is the slimmest in its segment thanks to its 7.55 mm thin body. The phone is available for purchase in the country via Amazon and local retail stores.
Lava’s latest smartphone features a new design language that the company calls ‘Linea Design’. It sports a horizontally aligned rear camera module that spans the width of the back panel with two camera rings. The handset will be sold in Feather White and Midnight Black color options.
The Blaze AMOLED 2 is built around a 6.67-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display with a punch hole for the 8 MP front camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The display is claimed to deliver 1,000 nit peak brightness. The phone offers an IP64 ingress rating as well.
At the back, the phone gets a 50 MP Sony IMX752 primary sensor alongside a secondary unknown unit and an LED flash.
The Blaze AMOLED 2 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7060 SoC, paired with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging. The phone runs stock Android 15 out of the box.
Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 is priced at INR 13,499 ($155) for the 6 GB/128 GB model. It will be available for purchase in India starting August 16.
