It’s here – Nothing just launched the CMF Watch 3 Pro. It has a bigger display, bigger battery and, unfortunately, a bigger price tag. And note that the name is “Watch 3 Pro”, even though the previous model was “Watch Pro 2”.

The new model has a precision-milled metal frame and comes with a soft-touch silicone strap. The display now measures 1.43” (up from 1.32”) and is slightly brighter at 650 nits (typical, up from 620 nits). It has a resolution of 466 x 466px (326ppi) and 60Hz refresh rate. You can customize the display with over 120 watch faces ranging from animated to interactive ones. Like before, there is a rotating crown that can be used to navigate the UI.

Some watch faces are designed specifically for Always-On Display mode. Speaking of, the larger 350mAh battery can last up to 13 days of typical use (no AOD) and up to 3.5 days with AOD enabled. A full charge takes 99 minutes. For comparison, the old model had a 305mAh battery and promised up to 11 days of typical usage.

The larger display comes with a larger body too, the CMF Watch 3 Pro measures 47mm. The other dimensions and the weight vary depending on which color you pick as they come with different bezels. Check the table below for details.

Width 47mm
Depth 14.4mm 15.2mm 14.5mm

Choose the color you want carefully as this time around the only hardware customization option is the removable straps – the bezel is fixed in place.

The Watch 3 Pro offers 131 sports modes, anything from HIIT to yoga, and it has smart activity detection, so it can automatically start tracking a training session. Before you start, the watch can guide you through a quick warm up with 3D animations.

For outdoor activities, the watch is rated IP68 so it’s not afraid of getting wet (but don’t take it swimming). Positioning is improved with support for dual-band GPS (L1+L5), in addition to GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS.

The watch supports Bluetooth calling with two MEMS microphones, a speaker and AI-based noise reduction. You can use gestures to trigger certain functions, e.g. a flip or a double shake. Music controls as well as a Do Not Disturb toggle are easily accessible.

It’s not just people that you can talk to, the watch puts ChatGPT on your wrist and it’s ready to answer questions. It’s also used for the running coach. Plus, you can record voice notes on the watch and they will be automatically transcribed. Finally, Essential News will read out the latest headlines for your preferred topics.
