The flagship Poco family for 2025 is missing one member. The F7 Pro and F7 Ultra have both already been unveiled, so that leaves the vanilla F7, which has most recently been rumored to become official in May.

And now the F7 has received its IMDA certification in Singapore, which indeed signifies that the launch is very near. The phone has the model number 25053PC47G for global markets and 25053PC47I for India, so it will be widely available.

The device has been rumored to be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which was announced in China last week, and indeed the model numbers do paint this picture – the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is 25053RT47C and all of the numbers align, while the “C” suffix signifies a handset meant for the Chinese market, and “PC” denotes a Poco and thus we assume “RT” stands for Redmi (Xiaomi’s brands have recently slightly altered their naming schemes to include the brand in the model number).

If this pans out and the Poco F7 is basically just the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro for markets outside of China, then expect it to come with a 6.83-inch 1280×2772 AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,200-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, a 20 MP selfie snapper, and a 7,550 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging.

That said, don’t be surprised if the global model’s battery capacity gets cut, as Chinese brands have recently done stuff like this.
