Entry-level smartphones are now at a point where they’re pretty hard to fault. The Galaxy A07 4G can be found for under €100, yet packs good specs, solid software support, and looks alright too.
The A07 4G brings some serious upgrades compared to its predecessor. It gets a smooth 90Hz display, which makes a world of difference compared to plain old 60Hz. The LCD isn’t the brightest, but it will be sufficient in all but extremely bright conditions.
The Galaxy A06 4G launches with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box, and Samsung promises 6 OS updates, which would give many buyers peace of mind.
There’s a 6nm Helio G99 in charge of operations. It comes with either 4 GB, 6 GB, or 8 GB of RAM and a choice of 64 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB of storage. Ours is the base model, and even it runs smoothly enough. Though if you can stretch your budget, maybe a move to a higher RAM tier would benefit both performance and long-term use.
The Galaxy A07 4G ships in a plain box with a single USB-C cable. The phone is already on sale in some countries like Ukraine and Indonesia, but it’s slowly appearing on more and more store shelves.
