Motorola announced its latest G-series phones – the G06 and G06 Power. The latter features the largest battery fitted on a Moto phone to date with its 7,000mAh cell. Motorola claims users can expect up to 28 hours of video playback on a single charge.
The maker also claims the cell will retain 80% of its battery health after 1,000 charge cycles. Despite the large cell, charging is limited to just 18W speeds. The vanilla G06 gets a 5,200mAh battery with 10W charging.
The rest of the specs are shared between the two devices. They get a 6.88-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Both are advertised to reach 600 nits brightness and feature Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
There’s a MediaTek Helio G81 chipset at the helm alongside 4/8GB RAM and 64/128/256GB storage. Both phones also support microSD card expansion.
The back features a 50MP main cam while the selfie shooter comes in at 8MP. Both phones also get IP64 ingress protection, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and 3.5mm headphone jacks.
Moto G06 comes in Pantone Arabesque, Pantone Tapestry, and Pantone Tendril colors.
Moto G06 Power comes in Pantone Laurel Oak and Pantone Tapestry colors. Motorola did not reveal pricing and availability details for the G06 and G06 Power just yet.
