Honor is set to unveil its Magic V5 flagship foldable in China on July 2 and we got a design reveal ahead of the big event. As expected, the device will feature a slim profile, with Honor confirming its latest foldable will measure 8.8mm when folded.
That would make Magic V5 the slimmest device of its class to date. There’s no word on the unfolded dimensions just yet.
Honor shared a series of press images, showcasing the V5’s updated design. We can see the device will be offered in a shiny new gold color with a textured back and hinge.
The Magic V5 also packs a massive camera island with what appears to be three sensors – likely a main, periscope telephoto and an ultrawide. Rumors suggest that Honor will opt for a 200MP sensor for the periscope module.
Honor also shared a design video, highlighting the Magic V5’s looks.
As per the latest rumors, Magic V5 will feature an 8-inch main screen and a 6.45-inch cover display. The device is also expected to bring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chipset and a 6,100 mAh battery with 66W charging.
